How to use the Internet Browser (4/9)

URL / Link

The internet, also called World Wide Web, consists of billions of individual (sets of) pages. You may access these pages from everywhere by using an app: the Browser.

Each page has an individual address, the so-called URL or “link“.

This address looks like that: It starts with „http“ or „https“ for Hypertext protocol (secure) = the technical language used in the www and „://“

It is then followed by the actual address like „www.(name).(ending)“
